Treno Natura 2017: travel on vintage trains in the province of Siena
Treno Natura 2017 (nature train)offers various travel itineraries, strictly on vintage trains, discovering the most beautiful landscapes near Siena. Trains of these journeys are two: the steam train, the classic black one, and the littorina d’epoca, an electric train in service for a large part of the Twentieth Century.
Every appointment of Treno Natura will accompany visitors to the most beautiful villages of the Crete Senesi (Buonconvento, Asciano etc.), of the Val d’Orcia (San Quirico, Montalcino, Castiglione etc.) and of the Monte Amiata.
Every train trip is always matched to an event such as markets and village festivals. There are also excursions to reach the various locations.
A journey with the rhythm of the past to the rediscovery of our traditions and our cultural and gastronomic heritage.
