History
Italian ceramics company, founded in 1979 in Campi Bisenzio (Florence, Tuscany), initially managed by Maestro Lauro Parrini. Maestro Parrini was born in 1956 in Montecatini Val di Cecina (province of Pisa), 10 km from Volterra, in Etruscan land. He studied at the Sesto Fiorentino Art Institute where he completed his studies as a Master of Art.
The first objects he created were influenced by the typical colors of Montelupo Fiorentino ceramics, such as cobalt blue, green, yellow. Today he has his own collection of decorations with a very personal chromatic imprint. The objects are still made with particular attention to the beauty of the products made by hand using the traditional mold and lathe methods. The “exclusive” decorations are completely handmade making each piece unique and inimitable.
In May 2016, “Ceramiche D’arte Parrini” by Bennati Antonella, was awarded the award: “TUSCAN MASTER CRAFTSMAN”
The passion for this artistic activity continues with Parrini Riccardo Son of Maestro Lauro Parrini, with the collaboration of the talent and the study of his sister Federica Parrini.
